Topic: Bought a CX650 turbo HONDA

Cx/GL forun is a great resource Sarge. There is a large body of knowledge and help and good community of owners like here.

Twisted Twins are cool and Turbo variant are wicked cool. The CX650 is what they should have introduced from the start.
water pump seal isn't too bad a job and Yamaha part is cheaper but either required changes and some flap wheel sanding to fit the later seal on early motors...The 650 turbo isn't likely to have that jump through hoops approach needed.
The stator is probably a TI model (good) and the mechanical waterpump  fan can be replaced with an electric for improved usage and eliminate a possible grenade waiting to go off.

Funny story.  Good friend has a mint '83 VF750F and we did a roll-on test side by side.  We were wearing comms and both of us couldn't stop laughing the second we got on the gas.  The Turbo vs the fastest production 750 of the same year, and my turbo just ran away.  10-15 bike lengths easily.  So much fun.  That  was starting around 45 mph, top gear in both.
