Hey Guys. What is the length of the original front fork tubes on a 1972 CB500 ? The ones on my bike now are app. 37.5 inches long from end to end, including the top nuts and the bottem caps. I know that "way back when" they were added to make the bike more like a chopper etc. along with bullhorn handlebars and king queen seat which makes it a bear to handle. Anyone know where a set of original or after market fork tubes could be located, and what should be an good price. Trying to get the bike somewhat back to stock condition. Need seat, forks and handlebars to name a few things. Thanks
