One's up for sale in my area for $950. Supposed to run great etc. etc.. Any thoughts?

Edit: It's a 1981 with 8,xxx miles on it.

I like em , solid reliable bike when looked after. The maxim is a bit plain looking though.
I had the 650 and it never missed a beat.

And, for $900 I brought it home yesterday. Will get some pictures of it today.
No rust anywhere, very pretty bike. Runs like a top, good tires, and it actually doesn't need anything!

Well done, cant wait to see it.
If the tacho housing ever starts to leak i have the correct o rings for it , they have a "D" profile (normal ones don't work).
you can have them.
