Final Drive oiler tray
« on: April 09, 2016, 05:29:37 AM »
Hi Guys
Have any of you run a 750 without the oil catchment tray in ,that oils
the final drive chain through the final drive shaft.
I have a US 69 K0 and there wasn't a tray in in.
I have replaced all bearings/mains/bigends and unsure weather to find a tray to fit.
If it only oils the chain i will leave it out, Does it help lubricate the final drive bearings?
Thanks for any advice Rich (over the pond)

Tray is just for feeding oil to the chain.  You don't need it.
