Lester front wheel for CB750
« on: April 11, 2016, 03:47:11 AM »
Hi there

Is a Lester from a CB550 or from a GL1000 easier to fit to a CB750 K2.

I have a Lester from a CB550, but I am looking at one from a GL1000 if it is an easier fit and I will sell the other one.  Both wheels have twin discs.

Thanks for your time
Scott

A 19" front Lester wheel is interchangable between the 550, 750, and Goldwing.

Do you have the correct axle, spacers, speedometer drive and brake rotors for your 750?  If no the 550 stuff is the same as cb750(except the 550 rotor is smaller diameter), the Goldwing stuff is not.   All three bikes use the exact same hub.

If it works good, it looks good...

Thanks for that.

So I should be able to use the axle and spacers from my wire wheel currently  on the CB750 + the rotor. I will just need to chase up a second rotor.
