LED Dummy light question

Excuse my electrical ignorance in advance! Wired up some cheap LEDs as dummy lights in my headlight bucket on my 1974 CB550, but the turn signal indicator only works for the left signals as it connects to the orange and light blue indicator wires and the LED is "directional". Is there a way to install something inline to get it to work no matter which wire feeds it power?

Install a diode on the "dummy light side" and connect the BLUE and ORANGE to it. It prevents the bleed-over. Get the diode properly rated for the amperage of the LED (often very low, 3 amps or less).

You'll need two diodes, one for each feed into the new indicator.  The other leg of the indicator LED gets grounded.
