Got the o-ring chain installed today. Next I will install the 341's as weather permits. Been doing a lot of riding so shop time is limited. Already had 4 weddings this summer which cuts into the free time too.

What kind of chain lube are you running Johnie? It sure looks nice and clean to work with.

That is the lube that came on that new x-ring chain. It was all lubed and in a sealed bag. There was also a small amount of extra lube that I had to put on the master once I got it installed.

Today I stopped at my local DMV and brought my VT registration along. Before I left I had my WI title in hand. Smooth transaction.

Good to hear!  So you actually leave with the title? [In TX, they mail it, takes 2 weeks]
Did you register and get a plate too?

Yes, I leave with the title. I have an extra collector plate to transfer over and that I have to send in the form & $23. That is the registration I will get in the mail.

I got rid of my mower! It just took up room and now when the wife say "time to cut the grass" I have a valid excuse!

Deer hunting is over and now time to start again on this K3. Not really a lot to do yet. Got the forks off for seals, ears and polishing. Need to do some painting on the badges, clean the tank, maybe polish the side covers.

Got the front end back on with new fork seals and polished the fork legs. Decided I could not sell this bike until I put on a new rear tire so got that done today. Next on the list is to get some Metal Rescue and clean out this sunflake tank and install the new petcock. Still trying to source a decent OEM seat for this. Been riding it with a real nice OEM K1 seat, but I hate to sell the bike with that seat on it.

Even though I have been riding this bike since last summer with a spare tank, I finally finished the seat and just yesterday got the tank cleaned. I don't see a lot of guys here using Metal Rescue so I thought I would try it on this K3. I was pleasantly surprised with the results. For the best results you want it at least 70 degrees...the solution and the tank. I had the Metal Rescue in for about 22 hours filled to the top. It said if you leave it in over 24 hours you stand a chance at turning the metal a dark color. I got a 5 gallon bucket from Amazon with free shipping as I could not find it anywhere around my town. Followed the directions and once I emptied the tank of the Metal Rescue I installed a new petcock. Then put in about a 1 1/2 gallons of gas and shook it around real good and emptied that out. Then filled the tank with no ethanol gas and added some Seafoam. The Rescue really cleaned out the rust and left a nice shine in there. Had no issues with flash rust. Will get that tank on the bike and get some pics posted soon. This sunflake orange is about ready to sell. I do not need another sunflake in the stable and hope someone else will enjoy it and take it to the next level. She is a fine runner with OEM exhaust and will make someone happy.
