Topic: Got it running!! Wont charge:(

Hi guys.
Finally got my 72' cb on the road but damn, not charging:(
Iv got a aftermarket regulator rectifier. The three yellows go  to yellows. red to bat and green to ground. White goes to green on stator and black goes to stators white.
the problems comes when i look all the wiring diagrams. there are 8 wires on every diagram  but i only have 7. im missing one black wire but there are these kind of reg/rec for sale on cb 750 sohc. How do i wire this? The missing wire should go to ignition switch. How else can i get the "wake up" power to reg/rec?

When I got my 350F it wasn't charging at all either.  I ended up just taking every wire connection I could find and redoing it well.  After doing enough connections, it started charging again.  I still don't know which connection it was that was the problem.  Maybe try this if you haven't already, before you get too far into this stuff.

Case closed. I think.
I connected the wires like shown in the picture before and now it chargin 14.5v. 15.5v when revving but sets quicly to 14.5.

The oil leak was a loose connection on oil line.
