Has anyone bought/installed a wiring harness from VintageCB750.com? I know we had a problem with the cam chain tensioners they sold but they are offering a $50 gift certificate. I need a new harness.

There have been other members here that have reviewed their experiences with aftermarket harnesses. Mostly positive from what I recall, there are some differences from the stock harness in some cases, probably due to the attempt at covering more than one model in some cases. At least the harness is easier to get to than the cam chain tensioner, and it's not likely to destroy your engine!

I would say that an aftermarket harness would be a worthwhile investment to replace a stock harness that has hacked up and/or has severely corroded connectors. Hopefully some of those with first hand experience will chime in.

The $50 gift certificate is not a real thing and they sent out an apology but instead are giving out 10% off. I JUST placed an order for a harness for my 78 because of the 10% off and the harness is currently on sale.

I can reply back if you want once it arrives.

I've installed 2 on late model Ks. Both have been well constructed, appearing "stock" in their connector types, and as Wilbur said, have more than enough connections to cover multiple years/markets.
