I painted it in my trusty EZ-up.   Only had 1 bug hit my final clear coat but it was easy to sand and buff him out of there.   2016 Jeep - "tank" is the name of the color.

One of these days I'll clear out a corner of my pops shop and have something a little more controled.

Time to dump the "pro" photos on yall.  They are by Derek Richmond, a very old friend of mine, who also happens to still own and ride the very first cb750 that I was allowed to ride on...

Back in 2005 (or so, it's hard to remember dates?) I had a cb360 for my only motorcycle.  One day Derek stopped by with a flake sunrise orange cb750 that he had found in Chicago and got running and riding with only the help of a Clymer manual.  He offered to let me take a spin on it.  Which I did, to the tune of 105mph...I was hooked.  I had to have my own.  I think it took a couple more years for me to find one decent that I could afford.  This is that bike.  I barely made enough scratch to pay the bills at the time.  I paid $850 for it in poorly running/riding condition.  I wish I had pictures of the early days.  I didn't even have a computer at the time.

This bike is really just a collection of very special parts, information, and experience, much of which was sourced from this very site.  I remember my first impression of the site.  I thought I had found a bunch of slightly dull, nerds, but extremely knowledgeable.  This was pre-politics ban sohc4 forum.  Somehow, I got hooked and discovered there was so much more here.

Thanks a lot for the nomination and any votes that I might get.  Actually won't care if I don't win because I still get to enjoy this motorcycle. ;D

I got lots more stories of this bike, just act interested if you want to hear some.
