Front fender cracked - best way to fix?
« on: April 15, 2016, 11:06:33 PM »
I noticed this at the end of last season. It sits on a CB360, so I gues a small crack just got supercharged by the vibration these bikes makes.

What's the least bad way of fixing it? The bike is all stock and in really nice condition, so I'd like it to be somewhat cosmetically pleasing. On the other hand, it is a bike that I ride - it doesn't just sit in my living room and look pretty.

Would you weld? Reinforce with a piece of metal and two bolts?

I would also just try to find a better one, if you can weld or know someone who can, just drill the end and weld it up then grind smooth and rattle can for the time being. Or just deal with it for now while you look for another one.
