Where to stuff headlight wiring?
« on: May 01, 2016, 11:54:27 AM »
Hello all,

Any ideas/images of good places to stuff headlight wiring connections when switching out from a stock headlight on a 75' CB750F?

Original back headlight cover finally disintegrated on me and although I could reorder, I got a great deal on a pair of side by side lamps and like the look of them.  This leaves me with a jumble of wires that just won't reach or fit in the forward electrical box mounted to the frame.  Anyone have any fabrication ideas or prefab solutions for making a 2nd box/rewiring ideas to hide the mess?

Right now I've got it all stuffed in one of the old turn signal cases, mounted to the front brake T joint mounting spot (front brakes line is switched to a single line with a hydraulic banjo bolt signal for the brake light).  It works but looks a little janky and I'm worried about moisture if caught in the rain.

Thanks!  The stock headlight harness was a mess when I got it and the turn signals were squashed from it being dropped (I'm assuming as both left side signals were half moon shaped); I've rewired the front end as a mock up for now; would be nice to get everything in the small box on the frame but there's sooooo many wires.
