Topic: Would you use this valve?

Bought some nos exhaust valves off of eBay for a rebuild I’m doing on a CB650. One came with a noticeable pit on the face. I already have a replacement from the seller but I was wondering if any of ya’ll would risk using this?

If I had a replacement on hand, nope. In fact, on a CB750, which required removing the engine to pull the head, heck no. On my C70 Passport, maybe, but only because it takes 5 minutes to pop the head off.

Lap the valve with grinding compound to see if the nick is in the sealing face area. If it isn't, it will work. If it is, it will burn in short order.
