 I wouldn't have been proud to have "saved them" like that. I'd still take one.

even in that state you are looking at a million quids worth
you cannot believe what people will pay for one , at the last stafford auction half a frame , most of an engine and a gearbox made over 100 grand

it is too bad people hang onto stuff like that with no intention of maintaining them,much less restoring them,instead of letting them go to good homes.used to run into those kind when I was a bike hunter,you can see it but you cant have it,it will rot.bill

I cannot stop staring at the with twin rear wheels...   Did it come like that ?   Can't tell if the wheels articulate or not, but it is mesmerizing.
Yep, I'm the kid that figured out how to put things back together...eventually.

just bringing this thread back as the bikes were sold yesterday at the stafford auction

the three wheeler pictured above made £331,900  or about 481,000 in your money
