There are a couple of $6000 cafe racers for sale around seattle-tacoma too.

One had a fork conversion and another had the $2000 benji's seat/tank combo.  Both bikes were pretty stunning.

Holy crap... http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/mcd/5550669826.html

All that and still no fork brace.... ::)

And in SEATTLE and no fenders at all. Jesus.  ::)

I can almost guarantee ya that anyone riding in the seattle rain is most certainly not riding a CB around.

When the rain stops, we crawl out from under our rocks and ride ;)

Bomberman...we will have to put together a Rainier ride.

For sure!  Pm me contact info

I've got elbe/ashford/paradise on my list of 30 places to ride.

Not the craziest price, but a very attractive looking bike I mentioned previously.

Even though we are the previous generation's hipsters - yes . . . this madness must end. No more innocent bikes should shed their blood in order to join the masses of chopped up bits that are ridden today on the world's streets.  Rise Up! Rise Up and Fight! Save those that cannot save themselves!

For $8,000 I'd buy a 2015 CB1100 and mod that fuel injected retro monster!

Come on guys this one is already priced to sell... different strokes for different folks. Not something I'd do to the bike.

Is it a strange era now when guys buy a complete bike. Remove a lot of the original parts, saw and cut... Later on they think the value has doubled when trying to sell it despite the bike is more or less destroyed...

Doing a cafè racer today is not as back in the 70's early 80's. Remove some parts, replace with others like fairing, tank and body set, exhaust. Original parts possible to put back.
