Topic: Crankcase Breather question

Hey guys, I'm about to re-mount the airbox on my 78 750K, and I've got a few questions about the hose setup. I'm still running my factory airbox and breather, and I'm finding myself (embarrassingly) lost at this point in the project. I'm assuming that the hose from the valve cover breather runs to the offset (lower) side of the crankcase breather, and the hose on the top of the CC breather returns to the top of the airbox. Once that's settled, I've also got the smaller hose that runs from the top of the carbs, and over the airbox. What, exactly does that mount to? Thanks in advance,

As it turns out, my plastic inner fender has a diagram. Convenient.

Right now, I'm not running my 'octopus' tubes at all...is there any down side to this?

Thank you for that factory manual picture for reference. I need to get a hold of one myself. The Clymer manual is good, but I would like more details.

As for the foam filter element I just cut my own from green foam air filter media for small Briggs and Stratton engines:
