Got mine today. Nice quality poly/ cotton blend. Even cooler to know I bought it right from Jr and that the money will help restore two historic bikes.

Is it just the RC graphic rectangular box, or are the other images included, like on the reverse or whatever. I'm a buyer regardless, but just curious.

They are plain t-shirts with the original RC logo on the front, just like the original 1972 design shirts.  In either black or grey.

I just picked up a few.  They are very nice.

Simon,

The short answer is that Russ Jr has his son handling the t-shirts.  He is a college lad, so hopefully he is more focused on girls than the t-shirt interests of us middle aged men.  So its not exactly a full fledged business operation kind of deal.  It's an extra step to write out the customs sheet, but no big deal.

I have just sent two shirts to Greg H in the UK.  I bought a few new ones from Russ's ebay site like everyone else and had them sent to me.  I included the two Greg wanted in the order.

FWIW, the shipping on my end was 24 bucks for the two shirts to the UK, 7-10 day 1st class mail, US Postal.

If there are number of people who want shirts from outside the US, I can do the same thing again in a batch.  I don't want any dissapointed RC fans out there. ;)

I have 3 new XL shirts in black on hand.

Thanks George,

We are making every effort to "make a buck" in this crazy t-shirt business. All of this to aid in the restoration projects.

Please accept my apologies for any delays or mishaps in getting those shirts to all ordering. We have delays on 2XL...as we simply did not print enough. We will need you big guys when those fuelers are to be unloaded...lol...so I'll be looking for those shirts at the tracks.

If I see you wearing these at the track...and we have posters...you get one free.

Russ Jr

I thought it was pretty darn generous of RC to encourage donations for Sam's recovery fund by giving shirts.  When I wore mine to an event, more than a couple of people asked where I got it, since at least the ones with that logo were not available at the  time.

Bill, I made donations for what mattered then, the shirts didn't. It wasn't even right that I mention it, but thanks anyway.
