CB750K5

Wiring harness is from vintagecb750. Diagram I found for a K5 has the euro headlight on/off switch.

I ran wire from the black 4 way connector to the brown with white four way connector. Because there is no on/off headlight switch on my bike.

And then I still wasn’t getting power to the headlight. The brown with red stripe wasn’t powered coming from the fuse. The vintagecb750 harness had an extra brown, brown with white and brown with red in the bucket. I connected the brown with white and brown with red. Brown with white connects with brown with red on the diagram (hard to see brown with red in the photo, the brown at the headlight fuse is brown with red). Figured the harness from vintagecb750 didn’t connect according to the K5 diagram.

Now everything works. Wanting to make sure that I’m not bypassing fuses or something.

Edit: I’ll pull the fuses one at a time, see if the circuits stop working like they should.

I always compare the diagrams in Honda shop manual with the colored ones.
