I just ran the wires into my new clubman bars and am reattaching the wires. They look pretty sweet, but right now turn signals light up, but do not blink when activated. When right or left is switched, the lights on the corresponding side turn off, and I hear the faintest of audible tones from the turn signal buzzer. In addition, the headlight does not come on (fuse was checked, and is good). Tach and speedo lights are working, as are neutral and oil lights. Horn is functioning fine. The wiring diagram in my Clymers manual I have shows some slightly different color combos (no black w/red wire, etc), but they do have a corresponding wire to connect to, so I was not worried. What I do have is one BLK connector coming from the back of the headlamp with nothing going into it, and a brown wire as well. I have NO spare wires, and no solid brown wire to match up with the female connection.
I am not an electrician, and could use any and all assistance in tracing down the problem. I have begun highlighting all known good connections, but I really am getting frustrated after looking at this mess for two days.
