Has the Services Offered area gone or moved? I have a friend who is trying to launch a new service: Honda specific motorcycle repair and repair instruction via one-on-one video. He has done some work for me (in a shop) and is a nice guy. I have not talked with him at length about his goals with this new venture, but I consider him a highly competent mechanic/tech.

You can visit his site to read up on it. The repair instruction is one-on-one video connection with an hourly rate. I think the idea is to make a plan on your competency and 'repair goal' and then come up with a game plan and cost, etc. I know this is definitely not for everybody, but I can say that there are some things that I would pay for someone to teach me vs. just paying a shop. A) So I can learn it and B) So I don't have the pay the shop next time.

This place (forum) is invaluable, but sometimes you need one-on-one help. Especially us newer guys learning how to work on these bikes in our garages. And if you don't have a friend that can come over and show you how to check your timing or go through your carbs for the first time for example, this is a solid alternative.

Anyway, just putting it out there in case anyone might be interested.

I told him about the forum here as he has not been on it. He seemed very interested to become an active contributor here as he simply loves Honda motorcycles. And fixing them. And helping people fix them. OK Admin, feel free to file this wherever it needs to go.
