yep, anyone would, whether 24 or 74.  This is why you should not use clip on/clubman bars with stock pegs.

 I am going to be changing out my bar arrangement.

I bet you will enjoy riding the bike much more with some higher, wider bars...and riding bikes, is even more fun than sitting around looking at 'em...and that's saying a lot when the bike is as cool looking as yours!

Thanks Sean.  Riding it is what it is all about.  :)  I have a set of bars coming in that I will split in half and mount into my clip on clamps.  It will give me a few more inches.  I think I am safe to say, my wife would agree that is a good thing.  :)
