Fitting rubber caps onto brake and clutch levers
« on: May 11, 2016, 11:51:55 PM »
Can anyone please advise a recommended way to install new rubber caps onto CB750 brake/clutch levers avoiding damage to them. Thanks.

Try heating them in hot water first to make them more pliable / flexible and putting some methylated spirits on the ball of the lever as a lube (it will eventually evaporate).
If the caps are new they will handle a stretch over the ball.
