23oo  bucks for a game console? What a frickin waste of money! :o

Well considering you can buy one of those controller games I talked about for about $30 (with all those old Atari games). We paid about $40 for the PS2 just so I could get my MotoGP muse on.  ;D Actually it belongs to the wife and she bought it to play Katamari Damacy  ::) Addicting game. Plug it in and say good by to your day.  :o

Me too!!, me and the kids were playing it tonight..They are 5 and 8 and love it. So far Joust, Frogger and Pitfall are their favorites, I probably have 100 games. Still lots of fun.

ic455, Ill trade you an Atari 2600, a full set of controllers and some of my extra games straight across for a good NES....

Dunno how good any of them are.  They've reached the point where you have to fiddle with the cartridge cradle to get the games to boot......never have found a way to repair this problem (other than matchbooks or other bits of odd paper wedged in to keep 'em tight).  Let me dig around and figure out where they went.  Also have a 2nd gen Super Nintendo still in the original box, as well as a 1st gen that's seen better days. ;)

Now why would a newbie with 8 posts start a topic like that?

If it aint EC its DG  :P

Maybe the mod god's know........

Nope, it aint me. We (myself and another member) were told not to post behind the other member and when we did, we earned ourselves a 2 week suspension. That was on Nov 5th and both suspensions should be lifted on the 19th .
I could have deleted my present account and come back under another name (like Dannysbikes or the like) but that would have shown total disrespect for the rules and the message board. The mods handed down my suspension, and while I wasn’t happy with it, it is their ruling that must be upheld (even if I disagree).
If I would have returned before the suspension was lifted, it would have looked like I think that I am above the rules and I can do what I please, when I please, and that the rules that apply to others don’t apply to me. The rules that are there are for all to follow, including me, and if I break them, I alone am responsible for my actions.

My last post for awhile here.....(open forum) - I had to come out for this one.... ;D

First I did say "If I jumped the gun MODS LET ME KNOW"....on my first post. No one said anything. I would have gladly stopped with tail between legs.

Anyway......

Fischer good to see you back and I welcome you. I mean that. Let's make this a real forum in which information can be exchanged. I respect your participation here.

And so the BS quits...... on Angry Chair - He is an employee of mine..... Not an alter ego.....He has been instructed not to post on your threads in anyway until a sort of soft truce can be made.

I have nothing against you.... I only hope that we can work a truce overall. Maybe build an allied thing.

With 10,000 posts per month there's no way that we can read them all (even yours Tom).

The only safe thing to post is actually technical knowledge, shared humour, classifieds, events, etc.  Fair enough for a biker forum don't you think.

This, in itself, is a completely pointless thread that adds nothing, even to the Open Forum.

That post just about sums up this thread.

So I've deleted it.

I'm rapidly running out of patience.
