Just want to say hello to all. I have a '72 CB750 that was chopped years ago and then used as a parts bike. Also have a '73 CB 750 that I am working on. Currently does not run but I am working on that. Looking forward to reading what others have experienced and locating parts.

I'm just south of Nashville about 30 minutes on I65 towards Franklin. What part of Western Kentucky are you in?

Welcome, Rich. It seems we have had lots of riders from the South join lately, and right about now, those of us in the North are wishing we had some of your weather.

There's a excellent compilation of parts suppliers in the FAQ. You may also want to check out the "Good Folks" and the "Bad Folks" forums under the "Buyer Feedback" title on the main forum page.

Murray, about 50 miles to the southwest of Paducah, only about 3 hours from Nashville.

Started looking and found several. I've contacted one about keys and have ordered several. I've been surprised about how much Honda still carries for these old bikes.

Hey Kg---I might take exception to that, but I'm from the U.P., not really part of Michigan proper, sort of the 51st state.

Anyway, Rich, from a newbie to a newbie, welcome!
Been to your great state a few times. Toured the Shiloh battlefield. Incredible story. Makes you proud and sad to contemplate those men and boys buried there.

Shiloh is someplace I wanna ride to this Spring. I've heard it's a very nice historical area and national park.

Enjoyed visiting in Tennessee a number of times. Spent the day boating at Kentucky Lakes once. Visited Memphis and Nashville.
Would like to check out Eastern Tennessee someday.

Eastern TN is the best place for riding... You could literally spend all day riding in the Smoky Mountain Nat'l Park and never get bored. Lots and lots of twisties there

Not to mention Deals Gap, one of the hottest riding spots in the USA. I believe it's 318 turns in an 11 mile stretch. I'm not brave enough to ride it yet, but maybe someday

I have been hearing about Deals Gap for years. Awhile back Rod & Truck Mag. had an article about it. So I looked on a map. After I looked I realized that I have been over that road on 2 wheels and 4 wheels and as a passenger in a sidecar. I would say that it is a very good road but not that GREAT.
