getting back into vintage bikes.
« on: May 20, 2016, 08:41:29 PM »
Hi guys, when I was 17 I bought my first vintage Honda which was a 77 cb550f with 1900 original miles on it. I paid 200 dollars for it with a title from the original owner. Once I got it running and started riding it around town more Hondas were offered to me for next to nothing.  Once all my friends started riding and buying new crotch rockets I sold all my vintage and bought a new rocket. Now as we all start our families our rickets have been sold but I can't seem to stay away from the vintage. I also collect vintage snowmobiles and have over 40 of those ranging from the years of 1961-1995.  My current bike stable is a 1975 cb550k in flake sunrise orange and my newest addition a 73 cb350f. In candy matador red.

Welcome to the party.  I've had a couple old bikes, but I just recently picked up my first 750.  Same orange color as yours (VERY pretty).  Best of luck to you!

So, the strategy is to lie to people you are asking for help?

I think I'll be busy going for a ride.
