I agree, I'd just like to see some better pics. Maybe some burnout or wheelies!!  ;D Or.......some naked chicks standing next to it!! :o
The thing about common sense is that, it's not that common.

My CB doesn't look  "perfect" because it actually gets ridden. No vehicle that actually gets used ever will. Mine has the usual chips, wear marks, small scratches etc. I'd never own a show piece for that very reason but I DO pride myself on maintaining all my bikes in tiptop condition. Why have a piece of equipment and not use it for its intended purpose. ???

          Hey MRjeck,
I gotta tell you, Compared to a lot of bikes I've seen, your's is like showroom condition (from what I've seen). I really like your paint scheme. It really sets off the bike.

                                                  Later on, Bill

Thanks Bill. Christ my John Deere riding mower is mint after 6 years....original battery too!!

I'm looking for some old pics...all I have found are some big burnouts on the FJ. Christ....I've owned the bike 30 years....I really haven't done the big burnouts, wheelies etc in about 13 years on that bike. I hear where you are coming from though. Look at KGhosts avater and imagine my bike. ;)

There a post somewhere where I can read about what you've done to it? A history perhaps?

Some past exploits. Unfortunately I can't find any on the CB. I'll keep looking. I apologize for the crappy resolution.

I'd like to do that Jeff. I have pics from 1977 to present showing the stages and different paint jobs etc. I sometimes forget how long I've owned the "Honda" (as it is called). It has been quite a while when I stop and think about.

I have Mike's list of modifications together with the dyno prints.

Aim to host them here (somewhere)

I'll tell ya how much I like and respect Mike's bike... last month we were both nominated for the BOTM and I actually voted for Mike's bike for several reasons, but mostly because it tops all others in terms of engine modifications.  I am still shocked that my bike received more votes...

They're all beautiful, but ILBikes' machine is just magical to me.

Sparty,I think what it boils down to is what year and model a guy is into. Some are into the F's more than the K's. Some are into the earlier more than the later years. Then there are some more into the smaller 4's than the 750's. I personally like the 750 K's 76' on down. Thats what I will vote for when I see a nice one up for vote(like Ilbikes and your's). Mike's is awsome and probably the best motor of them all. I will vote for his if they stop putting the sweet lookin' K bikes against his. Its all just a matter of personal preference.

I like all the SOHC4s, myself. I am more interested in the 550s & the 400Fs. I have nothing against the 350, 500, 650 or the Daddy of them all, the 750. When it comes to the BOTM voting, I vote for the one that suits me (whether it is a 350F or whatever, all the way up to the 750). I like the "K"s and the "F"s. "Different Strokes For Different Folks", I always say. ;D  There are aspects of all the bikes, up for the BOTM, that I like. I know only one can win but, all deserve recognition. It wouldn't do for me to be one of the judges. :-\

Thank you sir. I have a feeling she will be around long after I'm gone....I just hope she will be as well cared for as she is now. As others have said and I'll repeat....all these bikes and their owners deserve recognition and I'm just a pixel in the overall picture. Thanks again to everbody and Glenn Stauffer for making this happen.

             Congratulations Mike,

That is a fine bike you have created and maintained all this time. You are to be
commended. In my book, for on reason or another, they all have reason to be recognized.
Keep that beauty perkin and I'll catch you later on,  Bill :) ;)
