i really like the looks of this bike and I have scoured the internet trying to find out who built this bike. I really like the stance of it and mostly want to know what size wheels are and what he did to the fork and swing arm to make them look longer any help would be great!

Those look like standard 19" front/18" rear to me.

I don't recall seeing that particular bike here, but There are several build threads with single shock conversions. A search using the search box above should turn some up.t

Also, that's a front drum? What's going on there?

ive been looking like crazy! the thing with this particular bike is that if you look close there is a larger gap between the tire and the swing arm that makes the bike look taller I cant tell if it the swing arm has been lengthened or not or what front forks he used I also really like the gas tank and would like to know what tank it is

Dunno the details but it looks like oem wheels, with a cb350 wheel with drum brake up front. Swingarm has gotta be custom.

might just be me, but the top mount of that mono looks a bit too far forward for it to really 'dampen'
geometry of it looks off in the top picture.

Yes, that is a longer than stock swingarm.

Most of the early Honda twins used 19" front wheels with drums and some owners are happy to sacrifice performance for the look of the front drum (although riding home in the rain Wednesday my rear drum provided much more reliable stopping power than my front disk).

A nearly horizontal monoshock of this configuration will probably not dampen the rear wheel very effectively.

Exactly!
Builder did not consider the arc of travel of the swingarm mount.

so i just went and measured the wheels on my 72 500k1 and the back was 17 the front was 20 I was thinking maybe both of the wheels je used were from a smaller bike like a 350 that would have had a smaller back wheel like a 16. I definitely think the 20 inch front rim on my bike will be a little to big for the look I am trying to get. im still in the works of trying to figure out what I want to do. I was thinking of spending the money to have some excel rims made so that I could have a variety of options for modern looking tires. I do know for a fact that I want the whels to be the same size front and back and that im going to go with the monoshock.

The size should be engraved on the wheel, and of course if tires are mounted just look at the tires to confirm. 20/17 would be peculiar sizes.

Yes that's what I was thinking. I guess a better question to ask then would be what size should the rims be? I'd like to have matching front and back.

You never mentioned what bike they are going on, makes a difference. 18r/19f is the most common set up. 18/18 or 17/17 work in most cases and modern rubber is easier to find for the smaller sizes.

most yam dt has a nearly horensontal damper..but it tvice as big as this one..goes up under the tank..

Well they are going to be for the same bike which is my 72 cb500. I planned on having my rims custom made and just sending a company my hubs. If I could have a similar set up to the picture I have posted above. The most important thing to me is have a wide variety of tires

Also I think having aluminum rims would be pretty sweet to cut down on weight. Does anybody have any suggestions on where to have wheels made?
