1978 CB550 rear brake switch
« on: May 31, 2016, 08:21:22 AM »
Would someone do me a favor and post a picture of where the switch should be mounted on my bike.  I honestly can't seem to get it set up right.
thanks

that is the way to do it.
AND ....
I did it differently because I didn't like how it looked out there in the wind.
I mounted the bracket with the same orientation on the other side of that same bolt, inside the frame rail. I then send the spring to the angle arm to which the foot lever is attached by spline fitting.. (it's that part that levers the brake actuator arm next to the swing arm).
If this isn't clear from my description I can go take a photo of it for you
I recently restored and sold a 77 cb750f, and am nearly finished with a (former basket case) cb750k5.  This is a place to share, learn and enjoy.  I am grateful to and for 99+% of this site's membership.
