Just as it says new engine build kickstart on my k1 is binding against the clutch basket.  Engine turns over at the crank.

 I have taken the clutch pack out, and the starter clutch and it is still binding.

Why is this happening and what is the fix.  Thanks.

Is it possible that the kickstart pawn is worn out causing the binding?  I checked another motor I did a 72 and the kick start works just fine.
