Try Kroil. It is the World's best penetrating oil. And priced accordingly. Also great for your thundersticks  ;)

+1 on Aero-Kroil. A little goes a long way and way better than wd 40 for stuff rusted together.

WD is not a rust penetrant. Acetone a ATF works better than anything.

 I HAVE NOT TRIED IT BUT USED AN ETHER BASED ONE that worked very good AND THE BOTTLES double as chain oiler bottles..
