Delayed notice for PMs?
« on: June 02, 2016, 09:16:31 AM »
Have others been experiencing delays between receiving PMs and email notice of the PMs?

I've had delays from between a day to about a week.  Not a big deal since I usually notice an unread PM within a day, but I wondered if others were experiencing it, too.

I think that situation may have improved.

What about the delay on "NOTIFY"?!
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

Me, too.  Ones that I had already responded to and erased so the site could not find them.  I guess it is not just me then. No big deal - was just wondering.

I not getting alerts until a week or more late and I'm not receiving PM on time ether. I sent a PM to myself hours ago and still haven't received it. I have a number of parts for sale  and haven't been able to contact the buyers so I'm giving up and putting my email address in the add. If your one of the  buyers please  check the for sale post. I'm receiving PM's quickly (based on quick communications back and forth with members), but not prompt notifications.  This is not a big deal since I check my inbox frequently.

If you refresh your browser, your New Messages will appear in the Inbox. You just won't receive notice to your email for some delayed amount of time. I still converse in real time with PMs.
Tried the refresh a few times didn't seem to help but thank anyhow.

This looks to be resolved.  Once the backlog clears in a day or two, things should start working as expected.

Unfortunately, there was no way to selectively send the messages that had been held up.  It was either delete them all or let them all go; I figured the annoyance of a flood of messages was better than the alternative, so away they went.
