width of cb 750 wiring harness
« on: November 18, 2006, 04:12:35 PM »
Hello  all. I was trying to buy a complete wireharness for my cb 750 k8, but I couldn't find one, so I decided to rebuild a complete wireharness by myself.
I found the wires (with almost every colour of Honda codes) at www.vehicle-wiring-products.co.uk but they offer several widths
These are the options:
Ref 14. 14/0.30mm, 1mm2, 8.75amps
Ref 28. 28/0.30mm, 2mm2, 17.5amps
Ref 44. 44/0.30mm, 3mm2, 27.5amps.
Ref 65. 65/0.30mm, 4.5mm2, 35amps.
Ref 84. 84/0.30mm, 6mm2, 42amps
Ref 97. 97/0.30mm, 7mm2, 50amps.
Ref 120. 120/0.30mm, 8.5mm2, 60amps.

This codification means, for example, for the first one, 14 strands of 0.30mm diameter, 1mm2 cross sectional area, 8,75amps continuous current carrying capacity.

My question is: which one does the cb 750 uses for main wiring harness?
Thank you very much.
