New 77' 750K to the scene in NYC
« on: June 08, 2016, 10:00:13 AM »
Hello Everyone,

I picked up a '77 cb750k recently and have been logging some (mostly) cities miles but have made it out of the city now a few times to PA.
This is my first vintage motorcycle but have been riding and racing my zx636r and sv750 for quite some time now.

The bike was all stock when I purchased it and has only 15k miles on it! it was originally a project that never took off from the previous owner and before that it was registered to a dealership in PA. It runs great besides the idle being a little high - around 26k warmed up but hopefully can make the proper adjustments soon.

Just saying hi and looking forward to hopefully meeting some people in the area as the summer advances.

-Erik

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of it's victim may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated, but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C.S. Lewis

But we were boys, and boys will be boys, and so they will. To us, everything was dangerous, but what of that? Had we not been made to live forever?

Welcome from Texas.   Great pic!  Idle adjust is very simple, do it with bike fully warmed up.
