MOTHER F*&ker!!!!!
« on: March 11, 2007, 07:14:17 PM »
I went to take my motorcycle exam on Friday morning. What a f*&king mistake that was.

It rained the night before and my exam was at 8am. I got through the whole bit until the swerve test. THERE WAS A SPOT OF DIESEL RIGHT WHERE I WAS SUPPOSED TO SWERVE!!!

Laid the bike down and put a nice ding in the tank. Then, the grader helped me pick up the bike and snapped the bars back and put a ding in the other side of the tank.  >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

So, not only did I not pass, but I have to fix my bike AND retake the test.

I swear I could shoot somebody.

Lets see, you are in Oregon and it is march. Isn't rain pretty common at this time of year?  Should put in a complaint thought that states if an examiner cant even help pick up a bike right, how can they be qualified to give an exam. Funny how so many times in our lives, it is some incompetent that decides if we are doing good enough.

Hope your tank is an easy fix.

I know the feeling, guy who 'tested' me for MOT tester didn't like bikes and had no experience of them.
He did have a clipboard though ;D

Man, is that true.  It may sound picky to a non-rider; however, think how things would be if the automobile road testers could not drive a car.

Sorry to hear man.
I got my license at a riders school, which is MUCH easier than the actual state's test, plus they provide the bike you ride/take the test on, so you can drop it as many times as you want !  ;D

Same here. MSF Basic Rider course provides the endorsement in NM.  Then all I did was go to DMV and have them add it to my license.

get your license through MSF, you'll learn some things that could save your ass and avoid the DMV headaches.

and that is why I have always refused to lend my bike
to anyone for their bike test.

Good luck next time.
