Artist-local and not

Hi All,
what do you think of this art:

Recently my wife & I went to the Guggenheim museum in NYC, NY and the only thing I liked was a painting by Picasso. All the other "art" in scratched metal plates of geometric shapes looked like garbage to me. My 5 year old kids made better "art" than these guys, in my opinion, but we couldn't sell them at the same prices....for some reason. ;)

I love Salvador Dali, cubist, Renaissance,Mosaic Art,Sculpture and some impressionist but modern realism art is boring for me.

One of my distant relatives is Norman La Liberte and his art is way out in left field. (don't know if he still lives)

Another distant cousin "artist" owns/works for (not sure) www.cirquedusoleil.com

My brother (an aspiring priest) made some modernist art of a cityscape out of different wood colored blocks glued to a sheet of plywood years ago when he was on sabbatical from the monastery. When returning to his studies as a Jesuit, in Hull, Ontario, he was ordered to produce a receipt for the artwork by the border police. :-)
