Christina Grimmie
« on: June 12, 2016, 03:50:43 AM »
22 year old singer from The Voice TV show. After a concert in Orlando, FL she was signing autographs when someone shot and killed her :( Has this world gone completely mad and insane!! Stuff like this my mind just can't comprehend or figure out :o :o Words can't explain how I feel for this young lady and her family.

The accident scene in Kalamazoo where the driver mowed down 9 bicyclist and killed 5 recently was a mile east from my house.  The Kazoo Uber shooter lived a mile north of my house   ::) ::)   Some sick puppies out there !

Fortunately, dhal, the police apprehended the culprit very promptly. Absolute tragedy to lose a child and to some nut job no less. Heartbroken for her family and friends -

Yeah Cal the police say it looks like this nut case(who shot and killed himself also I think) had this planned and she was his intended target.

The only saving grace that ever comes from these murder-suicides is the culprit has done use a Public Service and removed himself/herself from the gene pool.

I was really sad to hear about Christine Grimme too.  So young and amazingly talented.  It is not fair that someone so young and so full of life gets cut short like this.

It really causes me  to ask myself what is important in life?  Why am I here.  Do I have a bigger purpose?

Damn, I heard about this last night. Didn't know it was actually Christina Grimmie. I saw a bunch of her videos a couple years back and was weirdly almost proud of her when I heard she was on that show.

Sucks

I know what you mean Chew. If your young, old, or some where in between no one is gauaranteed tomorrow. Way to much hate in this world and far to little love. That's very sad!!

A sign was up at the gas station to raise awareness about a missing missus.

News reported yesterday they found part of her body.  In a landfill near a town four hours away.

It feels scarier when this tv crime nonsense happens in your hometown.

This is a horrible tragedy.

I think a lot of gun violence stems from culture.  It makes me sad to try and think of the last time I saw a movie and there wasn't a gun in it.  :-\

It's not the guns fault.

An Insane man decided he'd do the ol' John Lennon fan stunt.

Not the gurram gun.

At no point did I say it was the gun's fault.  I said it was cultural.

The crime rate has been steadily dropping for a very long time now.  The only reason why events like this stand out so starkly is because they are so rare.

The media makes them seem far more common than they really are.

Could I suggest we abandon the culture/gun violence debate to another day, another thread? This was begun to mourn the tragic and senseless loss of a wonderful young person. Let's not get sidetracked from the big picture  :-*

I guess you didn't opt to pay respect to the young lady, but instead decided your commentary on a Motorcycle Forum might change the world. Enjoy yourself-

you are right..Family tragedies happend all over..cal 12 hunting guns..is legal ..if you have a hunter licens..but hack guns is a problem..so easy to make home..the killer/ex man) drove both over in his car..before he shot them..so bad Things is happend,,even in denmark...but to go aut and shuting a stranger to you, are.a bit different

but still .burglers are not armed..so polis mostly dont use guns.
.but now terrrorists gun use make al this historie..polis upguns...to overcom the terorists..so the Danish no gun politik is ending..by the muslim pressure
