Topic: Anyone know the diameter of the forks on the Honda VF/VFR?

Just playing around with different ideas in the rework i have planned for my K4. After chatting with Pro Teal last nigh i got wondering what other bikes had the same diameter forks as the CB...If the VF Forks will not go in the stock CB forks i could always go the other route of pressing the stem out  of a VF triple tree and pressing in a CB one. Just seems like this would be one alternitve to upgrading to dual front disks.

The 85 VF500F forks are 37mm and I think the 750 are the same diameter, BUT you better measure them to be certain.

                               I believe the 750 fork tubes are 35mm. I haven't checked yet but, over on the
             ohiocaferacers.com web site, you'll find a list of a lot of different brands & models of

I meant the 750 Interceptor forks are probably 37mm also, the same as the smaller 500 version.

           Ooooppps! Sorry about that, my mistake. I just took for granted that you were talking about the SOHC and early DOHC 750 fours. Moving right along.

VFR750 from FJ were 41mm
