Rear wheel rubber damper differences
« on: June 14, 2016, 06:12:11 PM »
I'm swapping the rear wheel on my 74 cb750 and when I pulled the sprocket off my original wheel the rubber dampers look different than the ones in my replacement wheel. Is there a difference worth worrying about here? The top pic is the wheel from the bike, the bottom is the replacement wheel. Thanks for the help.

There are two different types. The smaller ones are the original type, the larger ones later.
Both will work, the different style is no problem.

I looked into this last year, and I just ended up going with the non-linked ones. Both would work, and they cost the same.
