So I bought a couple of front LED turn signals off ebay for my sportster and it only came with 2 wires (sportsters come stock with 3 wires due to double filament bulbs (ground, running, turn)

I understand that the LEDs are only ground and turn but I can't figure out which is ground, the two wires are blue and green. Is there anyway to test which is the ground or will it be safe to directly hook up to a battery and find out?

Yep, it won't damage the LEDs by hooking directly to battery to test.

Green for grass and grass grows on the ground!

Least that's how my pops used to explain it to me.
