With recent events and the mouth pieces in Washington it won't be good.

Funny part is I didn't even know I had a new Mac90!   :o

It just looked like the SKS.  ::) Also have 4 banana clips. Nice to go online and purchase without the BS.

My neighbor cleans my guns an told me I had a MAC 90. OoooKaaaa, great! Guess I forgot.

Not into firearms like so many others but in hind site a damn good investment.

Well I hope you're never in a situation where you need to use all 75 of those bullets at once!

I doubt if I ever take it out of the box. Just wanted one before these become extinct.

No, it's a MAC90 aka AK47. My other rifle is a SKS. At some point I put a different stock on it. Not sure where the other one is.

The MAC90 were the high end Chinese model I was told.

Does yours look the same?

Agreeing with you. It's 'like' a sporterized SKS. Semi-auto AK. Does your stock have a thumb hole in it like mine does? I have never used my drum but it's storing 75 rounds for me.

I got this and a few other toys prior to the previous ban.

I'll dig it out and take a look tomorrow. Honestly, I'm not sure as I replaced the stock long ago.

It is in fact short.

I like the big Garand but not sure I would have felt as confident with the little carbine.   I appreciate nice quality wood on shotguns and hunting rifles also.

Lol I agree, however I have a comfortable job that I've been at for 12 years as does my wife. My son starts kindergarten this September so this was the year to go, but it didn't happen.

The Seals tend to agree and usually at least one is on the team, bullpup w/grenade launcher and the H&K MP5SDs part of their standard gear (other than the sniper and then that depends on the team member's preference.)
They and other special forces get all the cool gear...

I, like ejpent, have a fondness for the m1 garand as well.  Though I can't stand the damn peep sights myself.

But ya gotta admit, it's a gun that shoots freedom.  A bondfide nazi stopper.

It is kinda funny that when my kids were in college they would invite "southerners" to visit and go out in the back hills to shoot. Most of these students were from the cities where there were tough gun laws and they were amazed you could just own and shoot outside, without permits, etc etc., up here in Vermont.

definition of "southerner" for this discussion: anyone from Connecticut , NYC,NY, New Jersey, Delaware etc etc
