While fixing my leaky pucks I noticed that my head had the drilled oil passageways and 0 stamped on the head.  Could my head be Sandcast head 0?

Pretty excited!  I know this bike makes tons of power.

Look an inch higher is there a bolt in the middle or not.
Sandcast heads are not numbered on a per bike basis.

No bolt.  Is it a sandcast?  What is with the zero stamped in there?

Cases are k1.  Crank appears to have been lightened as you can see where the big chunk on the end of the alternator was removed.

Nope there's 26 thousand heads with the missing bolt hole, and cylinders to match
I am pretty sure early heads have differences, but not sure how to tell .
Now if the valve cover looked a lot different. Underneath, like graph paper or a waffle...I would suspect  early..

Trying to account for all the power this engine makes, and maybe the head is part of the deal.  The cam did not have the typical R# stamped into it like honda cams so.

It has a raised circle with F on it.  Any ideas what that would mean?

Does it have any rings around it?

Those heads, early carbs, and early exhaust made noticeably more power IMHO.
