It's funny that we don't trust cheap Chinese crap, one of the major hurdles the Japanese had in the 1960's was convincing the rest of the world that their products weren't "Jap Junk".
A lot of stuff from Japan back then was junk, my father told me about a new Toyota his company bought, he had the task of collecting it from Melbourne and driving the 200 miles back home, in which time it burned all of the oil in the sump, not to mention the main and big end bearings. It went straight back to Toyota, and a refund was issued.
As time went by Japanese products got better, and now of course, are world class. I think the Chinese are already way past the "Cheap Crap" stage, and are constantly refining their products, and already are manufacturing for the world's big automotive players.
Sadly for the rest of the world, China has become the world's manufacturing hub, we've exported our manufacturing industry, but we can't export our factory workers, so we're going to have generations of unemployed, unless we can think of something to do with millions of would be factory workers, who, through no fault of their own, don't have factories to work in. Cheers, Terry.
