CR 26 Keihin Needle Clip adjustment.
« on: June 24, 2016, 05:51:02 am »
I want to raise the needle clip on my CR's but I am having difficulty understanding hoe to do it. The diagram looks like it would be accessible from the top, however when I look inside from the top I am not able to locate the clip. Sudco's manual says the clip can be adjusted in two minutes but doesn't elaborate on how to do it. Is there another thread that explains it or does some one know the secret to getting to the clip ? thanks in advance

Remove the tops again.
There is a tab that holds the needles in place. The tab has a little lip that allows you to slide it over (like a hinge) and out of the way. Once you move the tab out of the way the needles lift out and you can then re-position the "C" clip and drop them back into place. Don't forget to lock them back into place with the tab before putting the tops back on the carb bodies.
Good luck!

+1 I love that about CR's. And you don't need to sync after.
