« on: June 20, 2016, 02:09:33 PM »
No shid!

Here is a copy and paste from local weather.

123.8°F

Back porch reading @ 1400 hrs.

Shop is closed today.

Good news is tomorrow it's only forecasted for 114. Dog days of summer? Not here, it's hell.

Did some engineering work out there a few years back. Was skeptical about AZ in the summer but people kept saying, "It's a
dry heat". BS! So's a freaking blowtorch but I'm not going to stick my face in one! :o

Yikes. Scalding as my GrandMother would have said.

Heat warning means nothing to some. Had to take other half to Doctor appointment  this morning then promptly ducked back in the house.

I'll be home the rest of the day if you want to call.  ;D

That's just crazy. Camelback isn't going anywhere . . . it can wait if it's 114 out.

I have a fairly good view of what's being called the "Reservoir Fire" from my office.  Gonna be a long fire season.

I lived in El Paso for about 7 months. I guess I was lucky, I arrived in September and was expelled left voluntarily in April so I must have missed the worst of it.

I think I'll start an air conditioning business there. Just perhaps no-one else has considered the opportunity.

I have my unit serviced twice a year just for this reason.

Talked with my Service Technician many a times and you would not believe how many don't. Well, maybe you do.

The hours they put in are crazy. Best I can hope for is no power failure due to overload. It's happened in the past.

Imagine living in a mobile home.

We have enough humidity already! Friday and Saturday were absolutely miserable.
Today it's better.
My shop closes around 2pm. That's about when it hits 100° in there.
I have to get up early to get any work done.

Stay cool out there.

Swamp coolers work better than AC units there.

Not when it gets humid in July/August.
Was contemplating a ride last night or tonight before I leave town for a couple weeks, but I think not. I've got a 550 in Seattle that'll do the trick.
Toytuff, you ever go to Tuesdays at TT Roadhouse? I lived here '97-2013, moved back in Feb.

It was 105 F in So Cal on my ride Saturday.  Too freakin' hot. It was okay while moving but crawling traffic on the way back made me feel like I was in an oven.
