Cleaning out a tank
« on: June 23, 2016, 03:11:34 AM »
Well it's been a while (spoilt with a modern bike) and I can't remember the best way to clean out an old gas tank with rust in it? Who has a tried and proven way of clearing a tank. I'm playing around with electrolisis but don't have much faith in it working.
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

Personally, I like The Works method. And if you need to line it, the POR-15 kits are good and have a cleaner/stripper included. I only line them as a last resort.
