The headlight fuse should be 7 amps; the tail-light fuse is 5 amp.
Don't fix it if it ain't broke!

I don't know if you have a model where the front indicators double as running lights. If that is so, maybe wires are switched somewhere or duplolamp has been installed the wrong way. Consult your wiring scheme for this.

Yes, the 78s have dual filament running light/blinkers in front, and single-filament blinker-only lights in back. They all use the same flasher relay, so if they work somewhere, it's probably not the cause.

OK cool that was the problem, did not know it had running lights, and the left front bulb had two filaments and the poles where backward and the right front bulb only had  one filament so that's way it looked wired, thanks for the help guys.

Do yourself a favour and disconnect those running lights that make your bike look silly and as childish as a fairyground ride. There's no science that supports they add to safety - personally I believe the contrary is true - and they waste a precious 16 Watts. When I think of all those millions and millions of unnecessary lights on US vehicles, it's such a waste of energy. When translated in oil, that's quite a pond, isn't it.
