Oh, and there's absolutely NO WAY to do it on the bike. You have to remove the header. Order four new exhaust gaskets when you order the wrap.

Im doing it on the bike and it will look great

 Damn.... And to think, $10 worth of exhaust gaskets and a few minutes with a wrench and it could have been done properly.

It makes you shake your head in frustration and ask, "Why?"  Just like lacing oxidized hubs to new rims with new spokes, say that's what you wanted, and then later try to polish the hubs on the assembled wheels.

Not familiar with exhaust wrap myself.  What do people usually use to fasten the wrap?  I take it people don't use hose clamps, but what do they use?

Safety wire or something similar. Or the type of hose clamps.....I don't know what they're called....like metal zip ties and you trim off the extra.

What does wrapping the pipes have to do with MATH?? His lightening fast 350 doesn't seem bound by the laws of physics anyway. But it's okay, because he BELIEVES. Facts and logic wither in the face of a strongly held belief.
