I really admire the Hondas of the 70s but in truth, it's the Kawasakis of the 70s that give me wood :-).

+1!    I like to think the Hondas are like the nice girl next door. Kawasaki is the bad girl down the block that you want to party with all night!

The Z is looking great, Nils, awesome job.   I also put the Domemi  pipes [and bodywork] on mine, great fit and finish.

Thanks a ton Steve. Hope to get a solid day of de-gremlin-ing done this week and button it up, then it's time to go for a ride! :-)

Great job and write up. Your pictures are very good quality also. I wish I could get fired up and do restorations but I mostly just get them back to good running survivor status.  When do you want me to drop off my Z1B for a facelift ?   ;D ;D

Eric, I'd be delighted. That bike is in great condition. Put me on the top of the list should you ever part ways with it please :-). And thanks for the good words.

Steve, your bike looks fantastic. I can't wait to ride this one.

Yes, a CB750 is a little bit of a let down after riding one around. OOOPS better not say that around here  :o  One of my good buddies has owned this 1974 Zed for way over 30 years now and keeps it stored at my place. Has a big bore kit and other goodies in it and runs very well. He has not rode it in 2 years, has a blown shoulder and into Hot Rods now, may have to take it out and 'loosen it up for him  ;)
