Help identifying Mikuni carbs
« on: June 27, 2016, 02:18:11 PM »
I need some help identifying these Mikuni carbs.  They came with the 750 stroker motor I bought last year.  No numbers on the carbs at all, they are wider than 750 spacing and measure 29mm.  Spacing between 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 is 75mm and spacing between 2 and 3 is a little over 95mm.    I want to sell these and looking for more info on them so I know what to list them as.
03 CBR954RR, 72 750 chopper(970cc
F2 head), 2017 CRF450R, 2001 CR250R, 72 CB500, 79 XR250, 04 CRF50,70's soon to be rebuilt cb750 drag bike.

Do you know what other motors would fit this spacing?

Dynoman had carb boots for them a few years ago.
Acc pump too!   My VM29 sold to my CB750 early 80's has no pump.

PeWe I don't see a pump. Didn't know these 29 smoothies had pumps. The later VM29's sure did.

Kinda rare though.

My memory is good, but short. ::)  My brain has got too much alu? ???

I thought that the square box in the middle was the pump.
But when I check mine they look the same. Except for a little bit tighter, cut and welded to use OEM carb boots.

I guess I was tired jetting them, replaced them with TMR32's. VM29 will  fit my spare parts, soon complete engine.

I have read about acc pump on VM29. Here a link with  2:nd photo with a strange device under the float bowls
