Hello to all. After 41 years of bike riding I finally bought an older bike, a '78 Honda 550K4. I'd like to say i'm really into vintage bikes but half of the reason is it's getting too hard to throw my leg over the tail of my sport bikes. So my SV650 is for sale and I've been spending a lot of time and money on the '78. It has 18,000+ miles and is almost original yet. It has been in storage since 2001. There's been lots of little things needing attention and i'm almost at the end of them, I think. Waiting on new oil filters and a new front brake caliper. The previous owner repainted it and that will be changed this winter, faded Farmall red just doesn't do it for me. I just put two new Conti's on and it rides much better now, and crack free rubber is just a bonus. I had an extra washer on the floor last week and it took all week to figure out where it belonged. Fortunately it was in the oil filter and not the front forks. I'd like to post a few pics but haven't figured that out yet.
